The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has extended this deadline twice, but I doubt there will be a third extension. Things have started to normalize and taxpayers had ample time to file their returns even after the lockdown ended. If you file your returns and pay the taxes before September 30, the CRA won’t charge any penalty and you will get uninterrupted cash benefits.
